Recurring Dreams

Another short post
today, but something I thought I'd share.
Since I've been in
Japan, I've had a recurring dream. The details and people involved
are different, but there is a consistent theme. I find myself back in
Tucson, going about my daily life, but I am urgently seeking financial
support so I can get back to Japan as soon as possible. It could
simply be that my mindset for the two weeks prior to leaving was an
urgent need to raise money. It could also be that I am dreaming of
Tucson, because it is familiar, and remembering the current ministry
I have in Japan, specifically the classes I have the next day,
combine to form that feeling of urgency to get back before I wake up.
I am not going to say these are visions from God, but it has been
interesting that people I have not heard from in years are the ones
who are coming up in these dreams. Again, these are probably not
entirely visions from God, unless someone can explain spiritual
significance of why my old youth pastor's new office looks like some
version of the 1960's Batcave, but it is another reminder for me to
keep seeking support for the summer Osaka trip.

p.s. in my last post
I mentioned I was getting sick. Well, I woke up sick Friday Morning
and had to let Pastor Taniguchi know I was not going to make it to
class. So I spent the last two days resting and I am feeling a lot
better and Pastor Taniguchi also seems to be doing better. Again,
thank you for your prayers on this.
